Our teachers understand that learning can be fun and that there are many ways to help the students learn. Our teachers use methods like TPR (Total Physical Response), PPP (Presentation, Practice, Production) TBL (Task Based Learning) etc. These methods give the students different ways to remember and use the language they are learning.
Role plays give the students the chance to practice conversations and the teacher the opportunity to offer correction on grammar and pronunciation.
Students progress well when they have chance to use English naturally, in order to try to verbalise their thoughts and feelings. Discussions also give the teacher the chance to assess the students’ progress in a more natural context.
At CMLA we are happy to use new technology, like the Interactive White Board (IWB). This amazing piece of technology brings all the teachers tools together for exciting and interesting lessons. It also helps the students to interact with the lesson more completely.
